Film

I adore the beauty of film as it has the ability to catch such transient moments and make them live forever. Unlike digital, there are no retakes.

This is what makes the photos that film captures all the more real, whether that be an awkward smile, a scowl or a stray can of cider providing a clue to the day we had. I go with a film camera most places although I don't take photos often enough. Sometimes I take months to finish a roll of film just waiting for the right moment.

These black and white photos are from an Ilford disposable camera with black and white film ($18) which can be processed normally rather than paying extra for black and white film processing.
